Aluminium stovetop have an awesome trait of not being brand specific, not as far as we've encountered anyway.  Stainless steel stovetops generally have small discrepancies from brand to brand, but aluminium usually do not - a 3 cup Bialetti seal, filter plate or funnel should fit an Avanti 3 cup pot and vice versa.

These Aluminium Filter plates are made from food-grade Aluminium and are safe for use.
